Most veterinary registration forms are built for the practice, not for you.
We've done it differently.
Registering with Atticus is simple. Check you are close enough to our Uckfield Base and then fill out a sixty second form. That's it. We'll gather the rest when we meet you, because paperwork can wait but welfare can't. Our job starts with understanding you and your horse, not paperwork. Every horse deserves an advocate. That's not just a tagline. It's our mission. Our purpose.
Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare has been rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming animals since 1952, starting from one woman's cottage garden in Ringmer, a few miles from our door, and now caring for more than 2,000 animals a year across a 43-acre site. Horses and ponies included, alongside the cats, dogs and other animals they're best known for.
Raystede takes on the animals nobody else will . Those that are neglected, abandoned, or with no one left to advocate for them, and gives them exactly what we'd want for any patient: proper care, patience, and time, not a fast turnaround. So our values and purpose are closely linked.
